Our studio is located in Tucumán, Argentina.

Where are our products made?

All our products are manufactured in Argentina.

What products do we offer in wallpaper?

We currently work with two types of products: Scenic Murals and Rolls.

The Roll is the conventional wallpaper where the pattern is repeated every 50cm. Unlike the Mural, which is a scene designed to fit the wall.

Is the color I see on the screen different from the pattern on the wallpaper?

Each monitor, cell phone or PC screen is different and we cannot guarantee that the color shown on your monitor will be printed as it is seen on the screen. If you are concerned about this difference in colors, we suggest you request a stamped sample.

Colors may also vary slightly between materials and each wallpaper batch.

Do the designs support color changes?

Some designs support color changes. Consult the design area about the modification. 

In case you want a specific color, we ask you to send us a reference of the palette eg: Sherwin Williams (you can see it on the website of that brand)

Do you make samples? If so, how big are they?

Yes, we offer samples of our wallpapers. The samples are usually 50 cm wide x 50 cm high. We can send you up to three samples free of charge, after the fourth sample, ask about the shipping fees and others costs involved. We request address information to budget.

Why do I need a sample?

While we always do our best to make our images as accurate as possible, contrast on screens varies as does lighting in the home. So by requesting a sample, you can check the color as well as get a better idea of ​​details like sheen, texture, and how a particular wallpaper will look in your home.
The swatches can also help you choose from different colors and help you consider other color and pattern combinations and how they will look in your home.

What size is a standard wallpaper roll?

A standard size of wallpaper is 50cm x 9.5m, which usually covers approximately 4.5m2 depending on the pattern, unless otherwise stated.

Can I see how the design looks on my wall?

Podemos ofrecerte hasta 3 fotomontajes. Para ello te pediremos una foto del espacio a empapelar con la menor cantidad de elementos posibles y que la misma tenga buena luz. 

We can offer you up to 3 photomontages. For this we will ask you for a photo of the space to be wallpapered with the least amount of possible elements and that it has good light.

The montages are made as a reference to be able to show what it generates in the environment.
When it comes to moving forward with the budget, it is adapted to the exact measurements of the wall and before sending it to print, you will be sent a preview of how it will look.

How do I take the measurements?

It is necessary that you take the measurements of the height and width of each wall to be wallpapered. It is
It is important that you take the heights from the plinth to the ceiling, covering the entire area that the wallpaper should cover.

In the case of MURALS we also need you to indicate: quantity, location and measurements of each opening, electrical outlets, light switches, wall lamps, electricity boxes, furniture or any object that may interrupt the development of the illustration since they are edited especially for each space.

Is there a minimum purchase for Scenic Murals?

In the case of our scenic murals, a minimum of 4 m2 is requested.

Do I have to calculate any surplus?

For MURALS, no surplus should be calculated, since the design department makes each order to measure and adds between 5 to 10 extra centimeters in height and width.

For the ROLLS, in our budgets we will indicate the necessary number of rolls to cover the walls you need.

How long are they in production?

Once the order is placed, we have approximately 20 business days for production for the Mural format and 10 business days for the Roll format. 

I need to cancel my order, what do I do?

We are sorry that you want to cancel your order. Please contact our customer service team as soon as possible to ensure that we can cancel your order before it is dispatched. If it has been paid in full, 50% will be refunded. 

Are reprints made?

Yes, however, precision is very important when taking measurements since the composition of colors that results in each version at the time of printing is unique, because the paper batches change as well as the inks. For this reason we cannot guarantee that the color tone will be maintained from project to project, and may suffer some variations.

What delivery services do you have available?

At Mercedes Costal we offer the following shipping services:

  • Argentina: Door-to-door shipping service. Final cost $1900 (see updated value). Estimated time 5 business days. 
  • World: We will ask you for the exact address to be able to quote you with our frequent couriers depending on the country of destination. Approximately 8 to 12 business days.

What surface can I put my wallpaper on?

Our wallpapers can be placed on any surface without texture, as smooth as possible and porous, since the glue must be able to penetrate it to ensure good adhesion. On shiny materials, such as mirrors, tiles or melamine, the glue crystallizes and the wallpaper peels off. It cannot be installed on wet surfaces.

Is it necessary to lay base paper?

Our material is heavy, so if the wall is smooth, it is not necessary to apply base paper.

Do you offer placement service?

We do not offer the installation service, but we have a team of professional installers outside the company that we recommend for the installation of the product. With the order you will receive some advice and placement tips.

What are the payment options ?

Our payment methods are the following:

  • Cash / Bank Transfer
  • Mercado Pago 7% surcharge
  • Visa/Mastercard/Cabal Cards
  • AHORA Plans Visa: – 3 installments without interest / 6 installments (12% interest) / 12 installments (20% interest) / 18 installments (32% interest)

Return and Claims

The company grants a maximum period of 15 working days from the moment of delivery to receive any type of claim. In this case, you must send an email to info@mercedescostal.com.ar explaining the inconvenience and attaching photos if you consider it necessary. Once the email is received, our Customer Assistance Team will evaluate the situation and forward the claim to the corresponding sector, generating a case number. The process may take a few days.
